About Me

My photo
i know what's right and what's wrong. i am cheerful and out going. it's hard for me to find the one that i want, but once i find the right person, i won't be able to fall in love again for a long time.

DO WHAT YOU LOVE

"Do what you love and you'll be good at it. Sounds simple enough. But what if you love reading comics, playing video games and watching korean dramas until your eyes pop out? Is it possible to make a career out of such things? What's the alternative? Spend all your time wishing you were brave enough to take that leap? Don't let fear stop you from doing what you love. Because ultimately, it's about being true to yourself."

I am a Muslim. I'm proud to be a Muslim! Islam is so practical.

~Bismillah~

"After all, Islam is a way of life! Though I would be the ninth Muslim to go to space, it was important for me to show to the world that Islam lies in your soul. Whether on earth or in space, it's important for a Muslim to perform his or her responsibilities. This was what I had been stressing on right from the very beginning, as I had hoped to open up the eyes of the Muslim world. It was the least that I could do, being a Muslim."
~Datuk Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, Malaysian Angkasawan

Aren't we feel the same?
Aren't we feel proud of being a Muslim?

If you ask me, I personally think that Islam is the most practical religion. As it had been stated by Dr. Sheikh in his journal, no matter how hard the situation we are in, we can never miss our obligations to Allah.

Why? Because we are Muslims; the true believers of Allah.
And that's a unique thing about being a Muslim!

Even we still can fulfill our responsibilities to our Lord in space,
so we have no excuse to miss our five time daily solah on earth.

It's true that "There's no compulsion in religion..." however, we will find out how tough our lives will turn out to be if we have a weak bondage with our Lord.
The further we go from Allah, the furthest Allah will leave us.

Sure we don't want that to happen, do we?

So, we eat, we pray and we also love.
These three elements, if they are combined together, we can immediately see the beauty and miracle of being born as a Muslim and the blessing of growing up as a Mu'min.

Alhamdulillah.

Stress: Good and bad

~Bismillah~

Question: What good is stress?
Answer: Our flight-to-fight response to danger served us well when sabre-toothed tigers were salivating over our tasty flesh. In the modern world, the stress our instincts create has no natural outlet. Stress builds. As it builds, our physical and psychological well-being is damaged. Let's see how we can tame the savage cave-person within...

Question: How does stress affect your happiness?
Answer: Stress cripples our immune systems, shortening our lives. It damages our heart, leads to diabetes, disrupts the digestive system, leads to strokes, and reduces our mental capacities. A Harvard study found that 60-90 percent of visits to family physicians are stress-related. Worse, stress can lead to suicide. Another 500,000 visited emergency rooms due to attempted suicide. These are not sign of happiness.

(From the book of 9 Habits of Happiness by David Leonhardt)

*Stress sometimes can be good and sometimes it can be bad. When it's good, stress can build up our confidence and motivate us to become a better person than others. It strikes us to put more effort in order to build up our self-strengths. However, too much stress can be hazardous to our health, especially to our mental brain. Stress is a kind of serious mental disease which is hardly to cure if we don't know how to manage it. We can never remove stress because it is already inside us. But there are always solutions on how to deal with stress. Too much stress can lead us to death. So, if we don't want worthless death, don't be too stressful over useless and worthless things.

Regret nothing

My heart

This is my heart.
Although it's been played, stabbed, cheated, burned and broken for so many times,
but it's still strong and refreshing to go through the same experiences.

I'm proud to be a woman

Previously, I always thought that women are weak. They always become the victims of the cases of marital abuse, child abuse, rape, slavery, human trafficking, broken love and many more.
And the most surprising part is...
I used to detest God for making such things happened to some of us.
But...
are all men to be blamed for such cases and are all women are victimised in such ways?
The answer is... No! So, who to be blamed?
Is it God, men or women?
Are all men strong and are all women weak?
You got the answer, right?
So, when are we going to stop playing the pin-the-blame-on-the-donkey game?
Women are not weak but we are special.
We have our own strengths and that only comes from our innerselves.
Women's strengths cannot be seen through our nacked eyes,
but it can be felt by a pure and an understanding heart.

Yup, I'm a woman and I'm proud to be one.
Alhamdulillah.

Trisy's 10 Line Spillage

~Bismillah~

Trisy's 10 Line Spillage:
1. It's much easier to spill to a stranger, spares the stigma and the judgement

2. It's much easier to be understood by somebody who has been there and done that

3. Everybody has skeletons in their closet

4. I don't say 'take a bit from my plate, chew, telan then talk' for no reason

5. Reality hurts, truth bites, living kills, today tortures and yesterdays are just as bad , what else's new? The only comfort is knowing we're proudly smart enough to live life the way we want it, though others'll never fail to try to screw it for us, we prove them wrong. Again and again

6. A friend can be a good psychologist, but sometimes I doubt it vice versa

7. Psychiatrist+docs+meds=bittersweet vendetta

8. There're times when we want to be vulnerable though how thick skinned we appear

9. Believing in God's love, live on because of His love, nothing can beat that, I know you'd agree

10. They've no idea what I understand from the word 'mirror'. Because I hate what I see looking back at me

Anthem

~Bismillah~

... saya dalam gelap...
... dan salah siapa kalau saya tak nampak?
... kenapa orang keliling hanya pandai bising...
... tapi tak pandai menghulur tangan?

Jangan pernah judge  masa lampau orang lain. Mana mungkin

pernah tercemar noda, kalau tak pernah kita hulur tangan

Maka,
anthem anda apa pula?

-Hlovate-

=====================================

Saya, tak habis-habis orang mengata. Macam-macam.

"Muka awak sombong. Saya takut!"
"Susah sangat ke awak nak senyum?"
"Kenapa awak ni masam je, ek?"
"Ei, tudung yang awak pakai tu pendeklah. Tak proper."
"Kenapa tudung Hazimah makin lama makin pendek, ek?"
"Baju yang anti pakai tu ketat. Nampak shape badan."
"Hazimah keluar makan dengan seorang laki ni..."
"Hazimah tu sosial gak ek orangnya?"
"Bla... bla... bla..."

Kerana mereka benar-benar mengenali saya.

Adakah salah untuk menegur? Bukankah Rasulullah suruh kita mencegah kemungkaran sebab prevention is better than cure? Yup, it's true! However, adakah kita benar-benar mengenali mad'u kita sebelum kita berda'wah kepadanya? Tak ke kita rasa bila kita kenal hati budi mad'u kita, lagi mudah proses untuk kita mengclorox dia dengan tarbiyyah? Bukankah?

Ya, masing-masing ada pendapat sendiri. But this is my stand and I'm holding on to it as long as it doesn't go beyond syariah.

Kalau kamu baca novel-novel Hlovate, banyak kisah-kisah daripada penceritaan dia sama macam saya. Kadang-kadang saya rasa Hlovate adalah saya ataupun Hlovate is my other half. Dia sangat memahami jiwa orang-orang macam saya. I can see my reflection through her writing.

Senyum.

A letter

~Bismillah~

Dear Heart,

It is my duty to inform you that our nervous system becomes overwrought when you allow yourself to feel hurt by every small thing that happens.

Stop it. Now.

Your Brain

Note: Don't let the pains occupy your heart. It's worthless. You heart is tired of receiving injuries each day. and your brain cannot process information well when your heart is injured coz they are connected. So, stop it and be fair to your heart and also to yourself.

A sweet reminder to the author as well.

Quotes of the day

~Bismillah~

"It hurts when you want someone but can't have them.
It hurts more when you have had that someone and you lose them."

Note: I felt this before. It truly hurts. Even until now, I'm still hurt.

"Before you judge my life, my past or my character...
walk in my shoes,
walk the path I have travelled,
live my sorrow, my doubts, my fear, my pain and my laughter...

REMEMBER

Everyone has a story.
When you've lived my life then you can judge me."

Note: Stop judging people from the outside. From the inside, we do not know what they had been through in their lives. If we want to know, then we should follow them to the past live with them there and witness every smile and pain they had experienced. From there, we are allowed to judge.

Everyone has a story to tell and my story is always filled with tears and sorrows. To have a new beautiful story, I shall leave to Allah to give me one because I've no more strength to create my own. I'm tired of being disappointed and thrown out from someone's life like a 'rubbish.' But I believe that every painful story will be replaced by a sweet one but when? Allah is all Knowing.

*smile*

Quotes of the day

~Bismillah~

"The most tiring thing to do?
To think
To think of someone who doesn't even think of you.

The most expensive?
To smile
To smile even if you're hurt.

The hardest to regain?
Trust
To trust someone who always dissapoints you.

The most painful?
Loss
Losing someone you love the most.

The easiest escape?
To pretend
To pretend that you're happy.

The most challenging?
To move on
To move on of something you can't live without."

Note: Even it's hard, but no matter what I'll let go the past. May Allah grant me some strengths.

"I am strong...
because I know my weaknesses.

I am beautiful...
because I am aware of my flaws.

I am fearless...
because I learnt to recognise illusion from real.

I am wise...
because I learn from my mistakes.

I am a lover...
because I have felt hate

and

I can laugh...
because I have known sadness."

Note: I realize that I'm not perfect but all I know is that experiences make me learn to be perfect.

We've no power to control over things

~Bismillah~

"Anyway, it doesn't matter how much, how often, or how closely you keep an eye on things because you can't control it. Sometimes things and people just go. Just like that."

.... and this is what I can barely accept or should I say I hate the most about life in this world...; when things and people which I love to the fullest just go like that. Is this what life is all about? They simply come and leave as they please without realizing how much we care for them?

Is this fair???

"... but for the believers, there's no such thing as 'selamat tinggal' because we will sure meet again in Jannah. So, what is to sad about?" said Kak Sumayyah, one of my inspiring akhawat ever.

Feeling relieved when remembering Kak Sumayyah's saying. Thank you Kak Sumayyah.

:')

When heart breaks, it's silent

~Bismillah~

"When you drop a glass or a plate to the ground it makes a loud crashing sound. When a window shatters a table leg breaks or when a picture falls off the wall it makes a noise. But as for your heart when that breaks it's completely silent. You would think as it's so important it would make the loudest noise in the whole world or even have some  of ceremonious sound like the gong of a cymbal or the ringing of a bell. But it's silent and you almost wish there was a noise to distract you from the pain. If there is a noise it's internal. It screams and no one can hear it but you. It screams so loud your ears ring and your head aches. It trashes around in your chest like a great white shark caught in the sea it roars like a mother bear whose cub has been taken. That's what it looks like and that's what it sounds like a trashing panicking trapped great big beast roaring like a prisoner to its own emotions. But that's the thing about love no one is untouchable."
— Cecelia Ahern (If You Could See Me Now)

... just like my heart. Right now, at this very moment, it's breaking. It even breaks mostly everyday and it's completely silent. Nobody could ever hear it breaks but me. It's so aching and it continues to ache until I cannot bear with it anymore. The tears streaming down my cheeks is hardly to stop, because there's no strength to lift my hand up and wipe it. Am I too weak? Definitely, not! I badly want to be strong again. I just need more time to recover from this 'illness.' Give me some time and space so that I can go through the process of purifying my heart. Then, I'll be back as a refreshing,
brand-new person who you can be proud of.

Trust me.
