A friend -

Someone who'll greet you -

With a wide grin -

Whenever he meets you -

Wherever he sees you -

Never forget to lend you -

A favor -

Anytime you might need it -

A friend -

Someone who's honest -

Never try to hide - anything -

That could make your heart melt -

Struggling to do his best -

Just want to make you happy -

A friend - 

Someone who'll laugh with you -

When you are in joy - 

Someone who'll cry -

When seeing tears running down your cheeks -

Someone who would be happy -

Sharing your success -

Someone who would be sad -

Seeing you're being hurt -

A friend -

Someone who's willing - to sacrifice himself -

Saving you from being deceived -

By the deceitful world -

 Advising you -

Whenever you are in the wrong track -

Never turn his back -

And leave you behind -

A friend -

Someone who always reminds you -

About God -

Taking your hands - going with him -

To be closer to God -

Inviting you - to achieve His blessings -

Asking you to join him -

Living in the Eternal life -

Never let you go -

Being taken by the evils -

A friend -

Someone who'll always be there -

Whenever you need him most -

Always lends his ears - ready to listen -

Always lends his hands - ready to hug -

Always lends his eyes - ready to cry -

With you -

A friend - 

Someone who remembers his responsibility -

As a friend of you -

Never forget - keeping in touch -

To know your new updates -

About life in campus - or at home -

In his heart -

There's a part - where your name is kept -

Until the end - he'll still remember you -

As his friend -

A good friend -

Someone who accepts you -

For who you are -

Never crave - for you to be perfect -

Coz he knows you're not an angel -

You're a human being - just like him -

All your weaknesses - and flaws -

Are accepted  - with an open heart -

And forgiveness - is always there -

Whenever you're faulty -

A good friend -

Someone who's willing - to be your friend -

Until your last breath -

He'll be there -

Holding your hands -

Helping you to fight the death -

Or makes prayers -

Even so

If he's not by your side -

A good friend -

Even if you're gone -

Forever - meeting God - there -

He never forget to visit you -

At your new home -

Never forget too to recite a prayer -

May you be placed -

Nearest to God -

Asking God - to take care of you -

Questions to ponder: 

* Do you have any good friend?

* Are you sure he/she is your good friend?

* How far enough he/she has gone through the tests, proving that he/she is really a good friend of yours?

* How sure are you that he/she will stay being your friend until the end of the journey?

* What makes you think that your friendship will last forever?

* Have you ever thought that when someday he/she meets someone else in his/her life, he/she might leave you alone. Are you prepared enough to face such 'tragedy?'

* Among your good friends (I'm sure you have many good friends) who do you think will stay beside you until your life be taken? Because trust me, I never see a friend who's loyal to his friend when he/she is on bed, fighting for his/her life.

* What do you need a friend for? Are there any reasons to be friend with someone?

Let's have a cup of tea and think about these questions together.

Note: To all my good friends, I wish I could end my journey with you guys. I just want you to know that even I will leave before you, you shall never be forgotten, as your names are always kept inside this box. A box called 'heart.'
