Salam.
It has been a long time since I've updated my blog. Frankly to say, many things that I want to share with my readers. Unfortunately, 90% of them are the stories of my heart. Stories which very connected with my own life. Seems I had been reminded by my dear sister for not telling people anything about my life stories, then I just stopped from doing so. This is to avoid myself from becoming people's victim of backbiting and to prevent them from making slanders about me.
Definitely, my sister loves me so much. She asked me so because she doesn't want other people to think negatively toward me. She wants to protect me. She just wants people to respect me as the way I am and I totally understand it. That's why I have quit talking about my personal life here. However, it doesn't mean that I want to quit blogging. Don't misinterpret of what I just said. What I'm saying is that I think it's better to share with everyone about things which are more beneficial for all and things which could make us be closer to our God. Don't you agree with me?
Enough with that. Now, follow me. There is something I want you to ponder for a while.
A thing which is very important for everyone. A thing which we can't live without it. A thing which is hardly to get back when it had gone and that is is called time.
I believe many of you might have heard of the statement "Time is precious than gold." Am I right? This statement is so popular among of us. How can we deny it? It's true that time is much much more precious than gold. We know that when we run out of gold, we can always search for it again and again. We can look for it deep inside the earth. On the other hand, as for time, when it flies, when it passes, it can or will never return. Gold can be bought, but the same concept cannot be applied to time. Time is a very unique abstract thing. Only those who appreciate time will know how much time can be the most valuable thing is one's life. More valuable than gold, actually.
The main problem that I've been facing since the first semester of my second year study is time management. Don't be surprised if I say I am a very bad time manager. I don't know how to manage my time properly. I was attracted by my friend's status on his FB and I think I want to quote it here. "Time management is very very important. So, manage your time properly!" He's absolutely right. But, this is something that is hardly done by many of us, including me. I got a friend. I can say that he is one of my good friend. Since I've befriended him, I can see that he's the kind who really concerned about about his time management. When I asked him about how does he manage his time properly, because just so you know, he's very active with many co-curricular activities in UIA but at the same time, he excels in his studies.
So, he told me, "You have to train yourself to be discipline, especially about time. For example, when you have decided to meet your lecturer at certain time, you should stick to your decision and does not get influenced easily by your friends who might ask you to go somewhere else with them. Another thing is that, as a student it is very crucial for us to make up our own schedule. By having our own schedule, we will know when our time or even free time is filled with useful activities." Alhamdulillah, I think he's just right. Don't you think so?
So, the moral of the story is, do care when and where your time flies to. What I meant was we should start manage our time properly starting from today. A new semester should give us a new spirit to start a new life as a university student. Trust me, it's not too late to do our time management.
So, what are you waiting for? Wanna join me practice our time management?
I think, enough for today. Now I shall pass this keyboard to my little brother.
So long. Take care.
Wallahua'lam.
p/s: Missing my dear sisters; Kak Uda and Kak Ieha. May Allah bless them.
